We are a Christian School
We seek to nurture children in an atmosphere consistent with historic Christian belief through a faithful and committed faculty while restoring the biblical priority of the family. We believe that education is discipleship; it is never neutral. Therefore we unashamedly teach every subject from a distinctively Christian worldview.
As with any important endeavor, a solid foundation is crucial. Therefore, the first and most fundamental element of a Kuyper education is its Christian commitment. Proverbs 1:7 states, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,” and Proverbs 9:10 states, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” Since wisdom and knowledge begin with the fear of the Lord, a student’s education must begin with the study of God’s Word and the imitation of Jesus Christ, the embodiment of that Word. At Kuyper, students learn to observe all events: past, present, and future through a Biblical worldview.
